The Little Rock Bible Study is a group who comes together to study Scripture and to live it in their lives, in the community, and in the world.
The Little Rock Bible Study has been active in St. Bonaventure parish for over 20 years. This study uses a bible commentary, workbook and an informative video developed by the Diocese of Little Rock, Arkansas.
The group meets every Thursday in the parish center from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. from the first Thursday after the parish fall festival until May. The morning includes song, prayer, Scripture sharing, viewing the video and fellowship. We have between 25 to 40 members at any given time and always welcome new members.
“The blessings that come from being In The Word are abundant and the connection of sharing the Word with others forever remains.”
Women’s Scripture Study is a gathering of women who wish to read and reflect on Scripture. The usual time frame for a particular study is eight to ten weeks.
The study varies. It can be based on a book of the Bible, a spiritual book with reflection and discussion questions, or a guided process published by a reputable religion publisher.
Meetings are generally held in private homes at times convenient to the members.
