Festival ministry plans, organizes and puts on the parish festival on the second weekend in October every year. This festival serves as an outreach to the Huntington Beach area. The parish community comes together to support this event. Come on out and volunteer! We need people to set up the festival grounds, work in the game and food booths, clean up, etc. You will be rewarded a hundredfold by helping and just having a great time.
We can’t do it without you! Think how much fun you’ll have working a booth. Or even better, being a booth captain. How about sponsoring a booth? The Festival Committee seeks volunteers to expand each of the major areas of our event into committees comprised of 2-3 people. Anyone interested in learning more or helping in a specific way at the Festival is welcome to attend.
Volunteering is a wonderful way to get involved and build relationships with other parishioners.

Raffle Tickets are on sale in the parish center during regular office hours.
Tickets are $2 each or 6 for $10 or book of 12 for $20.
Volunteers will help set up everything and anything starting on Thursday evening and Friday afternoon. This is one of the most important volunteer opportunities, these volunteers help to ensure we are ready to go on Friday evening. Please come and help as frequently as you can. This position requires that you are able to lift heavy objects!

All shifts, will need to perform the following things: Sell Sell Sell food and drinks, take food and game tickets in lieu of US currency. Opening Shift: Pickup all operational supplies and set up the booth for the day. Closing Shift: Cleanup the booth and return all operational supplies for the day
Snack Shack Booth: Who wants a snack, or even better Silly String?? This is your opportunity to be the "person" that causes the great silly string attack of 2017, or that nice person that made a kid smile by selling them more sugar? Volunteers will prepare and serve food (Cotton candy, pretzels, popcorn, etc.) non-alcoholic drinks, silly string and happiness. Click here to Volunteer

Coffee & Bakery Booth: Fresh baked cookies are made daily in the booth, but we need lots of donations of other treats! Donations of Cookie bars (lemon, brownies, etc), Cakes, Pies, Muffins, Homemade candy and especially decorated Cupcakes are need...are all welcome (nothing requiring refrigeration, please.)

Information Booth: Volunteers working at the information desk will sell tickets and wristbands and are available to answer questions - volunteers will be provided with all relevant information. Volunteers will also be in charge of keeping track of lost and found items. The Information Booth will also be where lost children are brought to meet their parents. MUST BE OVER AGE 18 TO VOLUNTEER.

Silent Auction: Volunteers will monitor items and answer any questions regarding the Silent Auction. Great job for someone that wants to be out of the sun and off their feet! Must be over 18 to volunteer for this. Grand Raffle Ticket Sales: Volunteers will work in the Grand Raffle Ticket tent to promote and sell tickets. Volunteers will receive and process all payment methods. Click here to Volunteer
Festival Maintenance: Working to ensure that our festival remains a clean and safe environment. Volunteers will be responsible for emptying trash barrels and other various and other tasks. This position requires that you are able to lift heavy objects and over age 18.
Field Support: Your mission is to assist overall field operational support, that means: Transporting food supplies to food booths, Transporting ICE to food booths, Transporting game prizes to game booths, Table Clearing from Dining pavillion, odds and ends to support the Festival Chair. Festival First Responders: Be on standby to help festival guests with any health emergencies during the festival. Only for registered nurses and first responders. Click here to Volunteer
Lifting is involved! Breakdown consists of assisting with breaking down the tables, booths, tents, food court, signage, and moving items into the parish cellar. Helping to lift heavy items can be involved. Thank you for helping us on Sunday evening after all the festival is finished!
